The FIM Mentoring Programme is an initiative led by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) allowing the National Federations to learn from one another by sharing knowledge and experience.

Federations interested in applying to the FIM Mentoring Programme can get in touch with the FIM Academy to explain their development needs and key motivations. Once their applications have been evaluated, if successful they will be assigned a Mentor with the length of the project dependant on the objectives listed in the request.

Mentors will be matched to Mentees based on development goals, specific topical interests, location and experiences. The FIM will track progress and analyse effectiveness on the basis of each individual project goals, the mentoring connection and the participants.

This will ensure the development of skills and also encourage connection between Federations, and increase engagement across the entire FIM Family.

BENEFITS FOR THE MENTORS

They will have the opportunity to make a difference and expand their networks while sharpening coaching and listening skills and developing leadership skills.

BENEFITS FOR THE MENTEES

The Mentees will also expand their networks as well as being able to improve performance by gaining perspective, clarity and insight and increasing strategic understanding.
