FIM SNX Turkiye postponed to 2024 as Norway takes on the 2023 edition

FIM SNX Turkiye postponed to 2024 as Norway takes on the FIM Snowcross World Championship & FIM Women's Snowcross World Cup for 2023 on 29 April.

The FIM, Infront Moto Racing regret to postpone the 2023 FIM SNX World Championship in Turkiye to 2024 due to the upheaval caused by the terrible earthquake that happened a few weeks ago. Thanks to the kind cooperation of all parties Kirkenes (NOR) will now take on the race and the FIM Women’s World Cup on 29 April 2023.

Infront Moto Racing has been in constant contact with the Organiser of the FIM Snowcross World Championship and the Turkish Motorcycle Federation (TMF) that worked so hard to host this important event. Unfortunately, all these efforts will have now to be put into the 2024 SNX World Championship as all events in Turkiye will be cancelled for the next three months. Obviously our thoughts go to Turkiye during these incredibly difficult times.

On a positive note, we are glad to announce the 2023 FIM SNX World Championship will be held in Kirkenes, Norway on 29 April. On the same occasion, the FIM Snowcross Women World Cup will also be staged in Kirkenes.

The best Snowcross athletes will be racing on a spectacular “stadium track” right in Kirkenes Harbour, only around twenty minutes from the airport. The track will consist or rhythm sections, tight turns and big jumps to make for intense races. It is also located in the middle of a snow depot guaranteeing plenty of good quality snow.

During the event, there will be an outdoor concert with lots of facilities such as an outdoor Café, an indoor restaurant, numerous exhibitors and market stalls. Spectators will also get the chance to watch a great Snowmobile freestyle show.

Under these extraordinary conditions, we are extremely grateful to the local Organisers as well as the Norwegian Motorcycle Federation for their incredible reactivity and great collaboration in making the 2023 FIM SNX World Championship a reality.
