The FIM is saddened to announce the recent passing of British born Lieutenant Colonel Ted Bartlett, a former FIM Vice President from 2002 to 2006 and Vice President of FIM Europe for several years.
Ted was a respected and admired figure on the international enduro stage and particularly at the FIM International Six Days of Enduro (ISDE), where he previously acted as team manager for the British Army team. Bartlett also played an important role for his national federation (ACU), serving as Chairman from 1997 to 2003, and President from 2004 to 2008 before becoming an Honorary President from 2016.
A larger-than-life character, Ted will be hugely missed by the entire FIM Family, who extends its condolences to his family and many friends at this difficult time.
