Taddy Blazusiak - The Polish Express

Taddy Blazusiak is without question the World’s fastest indoor enduro racer at present.

Winner of the 2011 FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship and only last week securing a third consecutive AMA Endurocross title, Taddy will be the rider feared the most when he lines up at the start of the opening round of the 2012 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Genoa, this coming weekend.

Despite ending the Italian event third overall twelve months ago, following a heavy fall that left him battered and bruised, Blazusiak went on to top all three finals at the final round of the 2011 indoor series in Barcelona to become the deserved 2011 FIM Indoor Enduro World Champion.

With his sights set on becoming the first ever FIM SuperEnduro World Champion Taddy’s spent the past month readying himself for the Genoa event. “I really feel ready  for  the  opening round of the new FIM SuperEnduro World Championship,” confirmed the newly crowned AMA Endurocross champion Blazusiak. “Despite winning my third Endurocross title I’ve been focusing on this event, training hard, and doing everything I can to be ready – I really want to win the SuperEnduro title.”

“Coming back to Europe to race after spending almost half a year racing in the States is something I’m really looking forward to. The tracks have their own style in Europe to those in the States, so  I  see  it  as  a  new  challenge.  Also,  the  riders  are  different,  which  together  will make the racing unique.”

While enjoying some of the best form of his career, Taddy is taking nothing for granted headed into the Genoa event. “Last year the race in Genoa was  a  difficult  one  for  me.  I crashed hard on the triple jump, which detuned me for the rest of the night. I’m a rider that always gives 100 per cent and this year it’ll be no different. The track in Genoa always gives good racing and I’m really looking forward to seeing what kind of a layout and what obstacles we’ll face this year.”

“I feel really confident because I’ve spent the last six months racing indoor enduro and have been working hard. I’m looking forward to racing in Genoa, I know there’s going to be  some tough competition, and I’m not expecting everything to go smoothly. Getting my SuperEnduro World Championship started in the best way is what I want to do. It’s an event I’ve been excited about for months.”
