German Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Moto) lived another perfect day after triumphing in both Sunday’s races and came home with the red plate. Second overall was Elia Sammartin (Team Gazza Racing). Third qualified and first one of the Rookie was Julen Avila Cortes (KTM MTR Racing).
S1GP Fast Race
At the start of the Fast Race, in the first corner, Thomas Chareyre (SGR Grau Racing) tried to prevail over Marc Reiner Schmidt (L30 Racing TM Moto) but his lead only lasted for a few corners. The German had an incredible riding style and showed a high level of strength that allowed him to stretch far away. After opening a gap over rivals, he won with a good margin. Thomas Chareyre had a hard time and could not handle the attacks received from Elia Sammartin (Team Gazza Racing) and Julen Avila Cortes (KTM MTR Racing). Marc Reiner Schmidt crossed the finish line in first place almost without fuel as he lost the cap during the race. The best Rookie rider was once again Cortes, who showed he can be fast even on tracks where he never rode. The second-best Rookie was Tim Slazai (Team 11) and third place went to Francisco Gomez Requena (Husqvarna). The latter seems to be back in shape after the crash suffered in Sardinia.

Elia Sammartin proved to have the best clutch start and for the second time in this GP moved to the head of the pack. The Italian rider tried to stand Marc Reiner Schmidt, but in the second lap had to let him go, moving to second. As in the Fast Race Schmidt did not allow his rivals to chase him closely and won with a solid margin. In the first part of the race Sammartin had to face Julen Avila Cortes, but after a few laps he found the right race pace and opened a gap. Thomas Chareyre qualified fourth one more time. In the Rookie the victory went to Julen Avila Cortes, who strengthened the championship leadership.
Thanks to the three victories Marc Reiner Schmidt is once again the leader of the Championship standings with a 9-point edge over Thomas Chareyre.
