The MXGP Academy commenced its 2024 activities with a three-day training session running from 24-26 May on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus where nineteen local riders were in attendance and received instruction from nine MX Trainers.
Further European dates are planned at Alicante in Spain on 22-23 June and on dates still to be decided at Madrid in Spain and Riga in Latvia. In addition, an overseas MXGP Academy is scheduled for 2-4 August in Kenya, Africa, with another planned for 15-17 November in Thailand, Asia. A third overseas MXGP Academy is scheduled for Columbia, Latin America, on a date to be announced.
Supported by the FIM and MXGP promoter Infront Moto Racing, the MXGP Academy aims to give young Motocross racers professional training and development opportunities while providing education resources and guidance for their parents and trainers.
